The yo-yo intermittent recovery test level 1 assesses an athlete’s ability to repeatedly perform high intensity aerobic work, and measures an athlete’s endurance capacity. Yo-Yo intermittent recovery test 2, also known as Yo-Yo IR2 or Yo-Yo Test Level 2.
